"Perfect''
It's not rare that I give out 10s, but I really think this game is perfect. Contrary to popular belief, this game is not a remake of 2003's Fire Emblem. This does, however, show a lot of similarities with it. If you loved that game, you'll love this one. Let's take an even closer look.

Gameplay 10/10
This game is so much of an RPG. It's amazing. You start off with a few easy levels, but then HANG ON! Cause it's a wild wild ride. There are only 21 levels (10 less then Fire Emblem), but that's okay, because there's extra levels. What I mean by that is, you can go back and play some old levels against monsters. This is good for training young units, but it also makes the game a lot easier. The game has so many ways to fold out. Every unit has two different units they can change into. This means there are many different ways to shape and train your units. This is also one of the best SRPG of all time. You're totally in charge. You have to use your weapons right and plan a good strategy, otherwise, you're not going to make it very far in this game. This is a game where you have to think to play, and you can just let everyone rush into things. It demands a level of thinking that isn't too over the top, which is fun; it's not too hard, but it's not way too easy.

Graphics 10/10
The graphics are the same as the other Fire Emblems out for the GBA. While some new classes get new attack animations and such, the graphics are more or less the same. However, despite being the same, they are still good graphics. They're just a littleā€¦stale. The attack animations are nice, and fluid, and strong. They look a little weird sometimes, but nothing's perfect. The enemies are also funny sometimes, but in a not on purpose kind of way. What I mean is this: Zombies, when they attack, take a bunch of steps, with one leg gimping. This is funny because it takes them so long to move to your character, but then they miss. Sound 10/10
Wow. This is where the game really shines. The sound is AMAZING. There is different noises for each kind of unit in each kind of terrain. The attack sounds are just as good, or better, then the attack animation. One of the best unlockables is the sound room, where you can here every song you've unlocked. With the DS's stereo sounds, these songs sound very awesome.

Repeatability 10/10
See, the thing about this game is it's almost impossible to get tired of it. I've played through it twice already, and both times I've had a different team. With random stats, you could use the same people and still have a different experience. That's what makes this game so great; you can play it over and over again, and it won't get boring. And it has one of the best storylines on the GBA.

Overall 10/10
This game has so many great things going for it. If you're looking for a nice long game that you'll pick up for the whole summer (and won't put down until Christmas), then trust me, this is the game for you. Especially if you're a big fan of the series. Buy, Rent, or Don't?: Buy. This game is only 30 bucks, which is a nice relief with all the $35 games out now. If you just got a DS, but you're made at the lack of games, pick this thing up. If you're happy with just your GBA, then you need this game.
