Just as good with a little bit more.

With a decade or so since its inistial release it makes a come back in this Anniversary Edition. With a graphics upgrade and new dungeons fans of the original will love this new upgrade and be excited that they can take it with them anywhere they go. Game play wise its pretty much the same game with some slight differences. The real hard part about this game is trying to progress the story line further. The lack of direction in this game makes it hard to put down and come back to it later. To progress through the story the towns people are a huge influence in this game. You cant get anywhere without talking to all the towns people and a little bit of thinking on your part. Example of something like this is during the game you are told by the towns people that someone saw something flashy fly to the west and your told that a pirate captured a fairy and sold it to a caravan. You must put together that the caravan is in the desert to the west. Its little hints in the game that get you through. The battle system is pretty much the same of turn based. Being able to play with four characters but only the characters you picked at the begining of the game. Do note that there are ways to change your characters. Example would be starting out as a thief but changing into a ninja. The magic system to this game is very perticular to what kind of character you decided on in the begining of the game. Verying between a white, black and red wizard. The same rules apply for the type of equipment you use throughout the game. Only certain characters will be able to use a sword or the staffs. The story line to the game is pretty simple you are the four chosen warriors of light and must get the four crystals and restore them to power. Going through and battling the certain bosses that are intertwined with those crystals. A very well rounded game but with the lack of direction and the easy leveling in the game you will be killing creatures with only one or two hits and looking up where to go next online.
