Nice graphics and sound, same old boring mmo stuff otherwise. Cool crafting and gathering though

Good presentation and nice music score make a great first impression but, as any no-noob player knows it takes more than cute graphics to make a good game :/
After a while running errands and killing some mob around you all too soon realize you're doing about the same stuff over and over : solo game most of the time with minimal player interaction, aside trading over the market (after lvl 17 quest). Also a rather small and limited world areas and lots of instanced playgame ruin the the global sense of immersion. You soon get an impression of 'deja vu' in every new area and find that those (nice looking) rocks and grass textures actually are very similar to other places you've been before, adding to the general tediousness.
Pvp is missing completely which adds to the feeling of lack of a purpose with a generally unimpressive story. If you like a good plot and storytelling go for swtor ;)
Technically i haven't seen any bug but the really annoying one i'm having with Vista (mouse pointer disappearing) and i'm still waiting for a fix.
The best parts of this game are the crafting and gathering system which are well done and interesting. Still to see how well it's implemented in the game to make it useful though.
All in all this game got me bored to death very soon and i doubt i'll renew after this first month. In fact, after an enthusiastic start (like so many othe gamers there) and playing for 3-4 days i nearly put it aside now.
As a side note, checking this site i got the feeling many players put a 10 just because they like the franchise or maybe mangas, which explains lots of overrated reviews here. If i wanted to try and counterbalance this trend i should give it a 1 ....
