I have been a fan of these series since the first time i laid my eyes on it, but this is not what i fell in love with...

User Rating: 7 | Final Fantasy XIII PS3
Pros:

Good battle system - The battle its the only thing that keeps this game alive, it a great touch to let the character move while your picking what to do, it makes it flow.

Graphics - Beautiful visuals, FF series has always shine in graphics and this one did a great job.

Great main character - Lightning, is a great leader in the game. The fact that it has been almost 15 years since the last great ex-soldier, Lightning fill those shoes pretty well.

Music - Another one with great orchestra.

Sound effects

Cons:
Characters - I mean come on.... That was just the most ridiculous cast I have ever seen in a FF game especially Snow, with the Hero lines. And not to mention the wish i had a gun Vanille voice, or too bad this is not DAO to tell her to get the F out of here.

Sense of humor - When I play Rpg's I always want to have a good LOL, but this game didn't even gave me a smile. It was a sad story since the beginning till the end.

Story - Wow, I never though I would even beat this game with one of the most depressive story I have ever played. when I saw the action of the beginning I said wow this is it, this is it! and yes that was it... i mean literally that was it from there it was just a shallow and hallow story, and when i taught it was getting interesting.... I beat the game.

Linear - Way to linear, I mean I was waiting to rest for a while in some big town and relax, or go to a market and just wander around it to see the beautiful visuals and talk to people, barge into their homes like it was mine and take stuff with me.... but it never happen. And this for me was a mayor Fail, one of the biggest reason that this game was a Disappointment.

For those new too the series other than.. Seriously... The game would be for you interesting but if you are a real Rpg lover and i mean the classic rpg then you would understand way we say this is a disappointment. But I have faith that Square-Enix will learn from this and take the good and improve in what went wrong and make another great title that will remind me the reason i fell in love with this series.
