FFX-2 is a very light-hearted game. Thats not a bad thing!
Come on! This is Spira;Sin is gone of course people are gonna be happy, duh! Its suppose to be fun. I liked the idea of three (hot) characters just adventuring for its own sake. Sure they had a reason to do it. But the reason takes a way back seat to thier enjoyment of the journey.
I also liked how u only played three characters. It made thier development that much more personal. Especially since FFXII's characters absolutly SUCK!!!
I loved the battle system. It really worked for this game. Three people able to fill a variety of roles with spheres and grids. Nice.
Alot of the places are rehases of FFX. Thats cool too. Its a familiar place,u should be able to recognize and reminisce the old game.
And this FF has something no other FF game has: multiple endings! OHHH what a concept square. Having those around made me wanna play the game again. Something to play for. And sure these multiple endings at the end all link together but its the little endings in between that really work. Will u help that little midget by the river or just keep on goin? There really are no bad endings here. No dark choices. But I dont mind. If I want evil choices ill play grand theft auto IV!
I dont get all excited for music in a game. Usually when good music is playing its when youre fighting a tough boss and im just not concentrating on the tunes.
Overall this game is great. I can see why some fans had problems with this one. But youre not gonna please everyone. If you look past the pop and enjoy it for what it is, its a very pleasing expirence. U need fun every once in a while! Even FF!
