Many people have found this game to be a failure. But in my eyes, it is one of the most enjoyable in the series yet!

This game was the first Final Fantasy that I beat for the Playstation. I loved every part of it. And it has nothing to do with how great this game was. Many afternoons after school I would sit and play this game, and the hours just used to fly by on all of those rainy fall days. I could start playing this game at 3, and it seemed all but 10 minutes later, it was dinner time at 6. This game really kept me interested throughout. There was never a moment that I got bored with this game, or a point where I wanted to quit. And this was really a love story, which many fans of the series didn’t like with squall and rhonia. Graphics. Well they were not the best overall, but they were great. Many of the backdrops looked gorgeous. And everywhere in this game things seemed to be alive. Not like many other games where there is no one or nothing around. And the music is really top notch. Some of the best I have heard yet in a final fantasy game. Even today, a good 5 years after beating the game, I still remember some classics from this story like Balamb Garden and timber owls. They were so timeless that even in today’s RPG’s they would still hold up brilliantly. And this game you can easily get 40-80 hours in of playing. This game is brillently made, and I wouldnt mind another just like it. Hats off to the people at SquareSoft. Cheers, ice_radon
