I was truly entranced by the story in final fantasy VIII. The series is known for their amazing stories, and this one delivers in a big way. The graphics are a step up from VII, but the story just falls short. (As does any other games story) If it didn't have to follow such an extraordinary game, I might call it one of the best games in history, which it deserves to be. However, following VII takes just a little bit away from it. All that aside, final fantasy VIII IS one of the best games in history, and should be recognized as so. Fans of the series will be especially pleased. Thank you
