The best role-playing game ever

I feel its my duty to review this game reguardless of how many years it has been since I completed it. This game, in my opinion, is the greatest role-playing game ever. What does it have that allows it to achieve this title? Here's a short rundown. The characters and world do not have the usual fantasy feel; they're interesting and unique. The gameplay is one of the best, if not the best, Final Fantasy formula. The story is presented to you in lots of ways and actually shows different emotions: some bits feel like a light-hearted Japanese animé whilst others feel dark and sinister. There are flashbacks which you actually play through instead of watching; giving you an even more indepth look at the characters' pasts. The music is beautiful, unique in places and fits every mood perfectly. There's just so much that builds this game up to be "the best" - if you havn't played it - play it =)
