Review: Final Fantasy 3

Final Fantasy 3 for the Super Nintendo is also known as Final Fantasy 6 since it is the 6th game in the series, but the name was changed since it was only the third Final Fantasy game released her in the United States. This game was the first RPG I ever played, and is considered by many to be the best in the series.

Story:
In the Past there was a great war between the humans and between the Espers beings whom are the essence of magic and magic using Humans. Now centuries have passed and Humans have rebuilt their civilization using technology, Iron, and Machines, and the Espers have become nothing more than a legend and a fairy tale. But will things change after an Esper is found, and magic starts to return to the people of the land?

Graphics:
The graphics are Amazing for a SNES game taking the look of the series to a new level while still retaining the hallmark look and graphics that final fantasy fans come to expect from their Final Fantasy Games. And the stills used for the characters look better than they ever have before.

Music:
One of the best soundtracks Nobuo Uematsu has ever completed graces us from outset of this game and will keep you humming for hours. The sounds are great and the timing has been perfected for this edition of the series

Control:
If you have played a final fantasy game you have the general idea as to how to play this game, Final Fantasy 3 features the first true change in the magic system of the series, where one would hold onto a magicite and eventually learn the spell permanently, and then can pick up another magicite to learn a new spell, just bear in mind that different magicite will have different skills, and can tech some spells at a faster rate than others

Design:
The Design is as solid as one would expect from a Final Fantasy game, deep, well done, highly thought out, and in some cases very calculated. All of the cliches found in this game were for the most part created by this game. Some characters are hidden, and some can die but you can save them so they don't die, and this can affect the ending.

Final Fantasy 6 is easily one of the best in the series, and If you have a SNES you must play this game. But if you do not own a SNES you can get this as a part of the Final Fantasy Anthology for the PS1 but the better version is on the SNES (no loading times) so if you can get your hands on it for the SNES, that is the version to get

Final Fantasy 3:
Pros:
Classic Final Fantasy Game play
Great Soundtrack
Great Graphics
Long and twisting story

Cons:
If you don't like RPG's you probably will not like this game but it might convert you
