It doesn't get much better than FF6, the charactors and story are amazing and will leave you captivated with magic.

User Rating: 9.4 | Final Fantasy VI PS
I must admit that when I plugged in my Playstation which had been gathering dust for a few months I was devastated to find that my Final Fantasy VI was broken. I quickly scouted the shops to find that they no longer sold such old games, I was on the verge of a breakdown and still I haven't found a much coveted copy of one of my most favourite games of all time, and definately the reigning champion of the Final Fantasy series.

FF6 has to be the game that offered me the most enjoyment and I took the honor of playing and completing the game many times over. I had sure favourites, Celes being my all time favourite Final Fantasy character. And Locke, I was so upset first time round playing the game that he was one of the last characters I found during the rebuilding of the group during The World of Ruin!

The game also offers 'secret' characters that give you a chance to find party members such as Gogo, a mimic. I found this a great bonus when I seeked him outafter a tip off from a fellow gamer where this useful guy was hidden.

One of the most amazing aspects is the story, just when you think you may have completed the game you realise you are only two thirds through the game at the introduction of the world of ruin. I must admit that I loved the idea of espers it gave it a great magical sense, better than the previous games of just casting magic such as 'fire.'

I am still in search of the game as Ebay is an obvious NoNo as my Mum has heard of many scams and she's a bit of a chicken (don't tell her I said that =P) and won't take any risks, not even for her poor little son who needs this game to survive, hehe!

Well if you haven't played the game yet, and you think that it's a little 'out-dated' you are extremely wrong. If you won't get it on playstation then you absolutely must, as I am, purchase the up coming rerelease of the game when it is remade on Gameboy. As it is scheduled for release in America, 2006 next year, I doubt it will be in England anytime soon.

I hope I have gripped your attention into either replaying the game or going out to purchase it for yourself (or for me to all you overly generous people out there! =] ) Farewell until I make my re-appearance after I complete both FF1 + 2 on Advance as I purchased them just recently.
