Ranks among the best RPG's for the SNES

User Rating: 9.6 | Final Fantasy VI SNES
Final Fantasy III, or VI if you like to be anal retentive, puts in control of Terra. A girl able to use magic, which in her time, is almost unheard of. After an interesting begining, Terra will be joined by many interesting characters, all with thier own special abilities.

Graphics: This was the first game that that main map sprites were large and more detailed. Backgrounds are gourgeuous compared to FF II. Magic attacks are much more detailed this time around as well. The Esper attacks are something to look at and enjoy as well. In a sense, FF III steps it up in all graphicial areas, like a sequel is supposed to.

Music and sound effects: There are many memorable songs and compositions in this game. The overworld music is some of the best in the series. ZoZo has very catchy music as well. The Airship, boss fights, random fights......all great music. Sound effects are also done well. Swords sound like swords, claws sound like claws...and fire....goes FWOOOMM....you get the idea.

Gameplay: The Esper system is done well. Certain Espers can raise stats at level up, which means you can really make a character the way you want. One button pretty much searches, activates, starts conversations...and other things as well. As you walk through the world or dungeons you will encounter random battles, which as in most FF games...can get annoying when you really don't want them to happen.

Fun: The more you get into this game's story, the better it gets. It has a little Star Wars in it, with the whole character named Wedge, and the Empire...ect.....Also there is alot of humor in the game, espically when Edgar TRIES to be a ladies man....or when Sabin and Gau get into it during thier first meeting.

Overall: Great game. Great Story. Great Music.......is there really any other reason to buy a game?? I didn't think so.
