Next to Chrono Trigger, Final Fnatasy III (VI) is the best RPG ever made. To simply describe it, CAPTIVATING.

Final Fantasy is the most well known, long running, and most successful RPG series in the world. Before FF-7 through FF-10 there was this masterpiece. The graphics even for today standards holds up pretty well. Especially the recovery spring in the Phantom Forrest. For a SNES game, it pushed the console to the limit.

Game play, although not entirely difficult, presented a lot of depth. The cast of characters are some you will never forget. Each with their own back story and impact throughout the game. Each character plays a significant role as the story plays out. You can't say enough about the musical score in this game. Just like every Final Fantasy game in the series, this one lives up to the music. Depending on which route you take in this game you can expect to spend 40 - 80+ hours due to all the customization and side quests. Also this great game will emotionally get you hooked. A favorite scene of mine was Celes in the opera scene.

If you are a hardcore RPG gamer, a Final Fantasy hardcore gamer, or even just a hardcore overall gamer I recommend this game to everyone. You just can't go wrong with this game. Two thumbs up.
