How it doesn't auto-distributes the items won in a battle, regardless of random creatures or boss battles, is very frustrating at times for hardcore collectors.
One factor is that you MUST collect 1 of every item in the game to unlock a certain bonus wallpaper or something, which is vexing if you even forget one single item.
Not just one, many items are miss-able and are not able to be obtained ever again.
Other than the mechanics, the graphics was not improved much from previous Final Fantasy DS games.
Story plot was misleading at times, giving not enough clues on to where to venture of next, but it's the difficulty which makes it fun.
