The game starts and revoles around the 16 year old theif Zidane Tribal, Zidane is a theif and at the moment him and his crew are performing a play which is a cover for them to kidnap the princess of alexandria Garnet the 17th but unsurprisingly something goes wrong they get caught and crash into a forest and the game begins properly. FF 9 uses the same system used last in FF6 where the characters have their own ability's for example Tidus is a thief, garnet is a white mage/Summoner, steiner is Knight, Vivi is a black mage, Freya is a Dragoon, Quina is a weird eat them creature and eiko is a summoner/ white mage and last is amarant who is a fighter. Like previous games there is HP, MP, EXP, AP, HP is health points which tells you how close your character is to dying, MP is magic points which enables you to use spells like fire or cure, EXP is experience which when you have enough levels up your character which in turn makes him stronger, and AP stands for Abiltly points which help your characters learn new abilitly's. Also in this game like Limit Break and Overdrive you have Trance where you chacter glows and becomes super and can do new commands like Zidane's Dyne which enables him to do special strong attacts and Vivi can Dbl Magic where Vivi can cast two different spell sin a row. Whats a FF game without secrets and Mini-games well No.9 has a lot of them, straight away there is a surprisingly good skipping minigame where you have to jump over the skipping rope, then there is tetra Master which is a card game, and also later on you get one of the best mini-games ever made called chocobo Hot and Cold which puts you in control of a chocobo trying to find Treasure. After reading all this i'm pretty sure you know that i like this game well i do it's about my 4th favioite FF game ( 7, 8, 10 come first, second and third ) but that still makes it a amazing game and heres why i gave it the marks i did. Gameplay: the game is highly addictive so.......... Graphics: cartoony is good but i prefered the realsticness of FF VIII and FF7. Sound: like all FF games Brilliant.
