A great re-make to one of the best games in the Final Fantasy series.

User Rating: 8 | Final Fantasy IV DS
Final Fantasy IV was created back in 1991 in Japan. It was originally released as Final Fantasy II here in America back in 1991. This game has been re-made several times and most noticeably now on the Nintendo DS. This game has the same story, gameplay and places to visit as its early predecessors. However, in this re-vamped version, there are a few new features. There is the voice acting, which I find very good. I liked the voice acting in this game; I though the voice acting was well done and the characters sounded their age. They didn't sound too old, or too young which I thought is definetely not going to disappoint anyone who plays this game. Another new feature included is the augment system. This system allows to customize special abilities to your characters. There is one huge dowside to his system. The downside of this system is that not only can your characters use this system, but the enemies can use it as well! Some bosses have some of these abilities that can learned from the augment system, which absolutely trounce your party members. This system I think the game workers should not have added because this system is not very useful, it can be useful in some caes and the difficulty level has skyrocketed. I could not finish this game because of the intense difficulty. I am not a hardcore gamer so I gave up on this game knowing there was no hope of getting through. You can spend hours after hours power-levelling your characters, or you can use an Action Replay to kill the overwhelming bosses. I am sure you all will enjoy this game a lot. I did. I give FFIV an 8/10. I originally gave this game a 6/10 but I did overlook a few things, so I raised my rating of this game to an 8. If you own a Nintendo DS, or are a fan of RPG's, give this game a try and after a little bit into the story, you will beg for more. Buy it if you want.
