An all around great improvement to Ring of Fates. The multi-player, game-play and story were all innovative. It used the DS to its full potential. The armor and weapons have been greatly increased and are mush better. The boss fights are fun though there are too few. The battles are too easy though, even on very hard mode. And going through the exact same puzzles three times alone plus more times with friends on multi-player gets a little tedious and annoying. But you can play as any of the four different races, so it changes your fighting style throughout the game. The best improvement is of course the multi-player and better yet is getting to play with your friends on the retro bosses and all the missions. Though it will never be as good as the first Crystal Chronicles, it is one of the best action Role Playing Game titles on the Nintendo DS. It is definitely worth buying even if you do not have friends who can play it with you. But having friends that play it with you makes it even more fun.
