Finally Fantasy VI is the greatest game of all time. For its time, the graphics were amazing and the soundtrack was far better still. Its story? The best the gaming world has ever known. Yes, Final Fantasy VI is better than FFVII. It's better than any other game before or since. I have never been more completely engrossed by any other game before or since. I have played through it twice yet still feel that I've neglected it. If you haven't played VI and have a PS/PS2, SNES, GBA, or DS, and especially if you love RPG's, go find a copy of this game and play it. Obviously it looks dated graphically by today's standards. But beyond that lies the greatest in the Final Fantasy series. And the greatest game of all time.
