When I put the carteridge in, I thought I had the wrong game. "Wait...isn't Final Fantasy games supposed to be sequential RPG?" I found myself asking. No, and curiously so. As I began to battle and explore I realized that I had fallen upon a gem! Yes, a gem. This game has all of the elements of a classic Zelda top-down game. I even was pleasantly suprised of the ability to change melee weapons (axes, swords, sickles, chains & lances), but also a deep item and spell menu as well. The hook-shot from Zelda...covered in FF:A. Breakable walls...covered (mattocks replace bombs). Airship...covered. Chobo that you can ride...OH YES...covered. All of these relevations occured on this gem of a cartridge released two years prior to Zelda: Link's Awakening. Cudos FF:A...Zelda fans...don't pass this one up. Buy it for sure!
