One of the Best!!!

User Rating: 8.8 | Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden GB
With the rise of more sophisticated Game Boy games and systems, not too much is known about Final Fantasy except how much this game truly delivers an overwhelming taste of adventure. The story is very enjoyable and the secondary characters, whom have their own special attacks or skills, might or might not change to tide of battle.

You control a one man army, so fighting sounds pretty tense...not, thankfully do to the type of battle in this game you fight enemies on the field and not in a battle zone, which is what exactly Seiken Denestsu should feel like unlike which the theme of FINAL FANTASY focuses on. With a various array of weapons or tools you can either break walls, whip across a river, or chop down trees.

Traveling the whole map on foot may leave you wondering if you can steal yourself an airship or boat, but you do receive the friendly help of a chocobo that can even run on water which makes it even better.

The music in the game was done nicely and the action always had me swinging, the story of the game was also done nicely as well as the appearances of new lands (which would help you remember where you were exactly).

This game is one of the best GB RPG titles I have ever played (and I frown to the knowledge that I have yet to own this awesome game) and it's just so much fun that I can forget my fond memories. Nothing feels like an original title, so if you skip this and go on to the more advanced version of this game (Sword of Mana - GBA) you might be missing some things you might not experienced. If you've ever played Secret of Mana, that's the basic combat you experience in this game. Overall, this was a very impressive Game Boy game and had a lot of fun to it, yet not being too difficult...which is a game for every age.
