The best Action Role-playing game ever.

User Rating: 8.8 | Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden GB
The final fantasy series has gotten a lot of hype post-Final Fantasy VII. This unfortunately, means that most of the older Final Fantasy's are ignored or simply seen as collectors merchandise. Final Fantasy Adventure was one of 4 obscure game boy games that deserved a lot more attention than they recieved.
Gameplay/Story: The story revolves around Hero and Girl (you name them yourself) as Hero vows to protect Girl and help her fulfill her unknown destiny. The gameplay plays much like The legend of Zelda: Links Awakening however, this is much more than a Zelda Clone. FF Adventure has you buying various weapons such as the sword, axe, morning star and many others to achieve your goals.
Graphics: Because it's an old Gameboy game, you are probably worried about the graphics. Don't fear, they are much like Link's Awakening or a colorless Link to the Past. The lack of any good color is dissapointing but not devestating to the game.
Sound: Come on people... it's game boy. What do you expect? It's basically variations of beeps and boops to make up the music for Adventure. It does have certain old-school charm to it though.
Value: FF Adventure is longer than all the Zelda games as well. It lasted longer, to me, than a lot of console games. So if you like the old-school zelda games, this game is perfect for those long car rides or even if you just want to enjoy the roots of the incredible Final Fantasy series.
