The best boxing game on the original Xbox, much better than Round 3.

I have all three games in the Fight Night series, and while the other two games are excellent games, Round 2 is the best game of the series. It takes all the best features of the first Fight Night like the fast paced action, the analog punching system, and the awesome ragdoll physics, and improves the graphics, adds more boxers, better graphics and makes just a better game all around. This game has better graphics than the 3rd Fight Night, the cutman is better, the speed is much better, and its also more realistic. Gameplay- The analog punching system is perfected in this game with the addition of the haymaker. They didnt mess up like in the 3rd game, and make 30 different types of haymakers and overcomplicate it. One bad thing about the haymaker system though, is that it doesnt take up enough energy, so you can use it for the whole fight. The speed of the punches and the gameplay in general is awesome.
Graphics- excellent, much improved over FN 2004, and better than FN Round 3. They really accentuate and improve the overall experience.
Sound- Joe Tessitore does a very good job commentating, I just wish Teddy Atlas was commentating with him. The all rap soundtrack, and the lack of coustom soundtracks isnt a strongpoint, but the in game sounds are great.
Value- Ive played this game for at least 100 hours, and Ive gone through 9 career modes, so that tells you something about the value of this game.
All in all, this game is one of my all time favorites, It improves upon the excellent formula of the first Fight Night, and makes new strides, while making the game easy to pick up, and difficult to master. I reccommend this game to anyone interested in an excellent boxing or sports game.
