good, but too much like fifa 11
Fifa 12 looked like a promising game, but in my opinion, turned out to be just an "update" of Fifa 11.
They changed the defence system, although I agree that the defence system should be more than just pressing one button and waiting to get the ball, the new defence system needs some working.
With the new tackling system you need to be very precise, which is what happens in real football, what doesn't happen in real football is that when a player misses a tackle, he doesn't lose balance like it happens in Fifa 12 almost all the time.
The new dribbling system is great, it is easier to dribble, and the players by themselves seem to control and dribble the ball better. I remember last year complaining all the time when it was so easy for a world-class player to lose the ball for a defender.
Fifa beats pes in gameplay, licenses, but one thing Fifa doesn't beat pes is in having look alike player faces. Some players from the English league have incredible look alike faces, but honestly, it doesn't make any sense for players like Hulk, Coentrão, Falcão, David Luiz, etc.
I can't find a player in the Portuguese league with a look alike face. Keep in mind that Portuguese teams dominated the Europa Cup, 3 Portuguese teams in the semi-finals, 2 Portuguese teams in the final. This year Benfica thrashed Man. Utd. in the champions league. But I'm not gonna turn this into a football fans fight. I just think their are more leagues out there than need more care, it's not all about the English Premier league.
Overall I think it's a great game, but if you already own Fifa 11, there is no need for getting Fifa 12.
