Tuning FIFA 11

User Rating: 7 | FIFA Soccer 11 PC
I am playing Fifa 11 for couple of days; at first it seems really slow, not very energetic and boring. But now, gradually, it becomes fast and energetic. I don't know how, may be, it's a bug. I have noticed this kind of problem in earlier versions also. But whatever the reason is, now I am in love with 2011 version, so I am writing this review. :)
Gameplay is not so hard, u can easily manage with legendary difficulty is you are accustomed with the highest difficulty level in previous versions. But the new thing is (I don't know if this feature existed in Fifa 10 or not), you can create your own profile according to your football gaming experience in real. There is 3 kinds of experience level, "Didn't play football in my entire life", "Occasionally play football", "Football is my passion". Nature of difficulty level varies according to experience level.
Honestly saying, Fifa 11 is made for gamepad users, keyboard users got only minimal support (only 5-6 keys are working in keyboard). And, configuring your favorite keyboard control is confusing. So, if you want to play Fifa 11 in legendary level using keyboard, it will be a nightmare for you. Gamepad users get many features like dribbling, custom tactics, custom tricks, I can't mention all of them because I haven't use them (I use keyboard) .
There are some new features for PC version. Next-gen menu presentation is used. Manager mode from console version of FIFA 10 has been imported with some improvements. Be a pro seasons have been completely revamped. There is a new practice arena which can be accessed when exiting a game mode. There is a new 5 v 5 online team play and Pro Club Championship. Further, there is the all new Virtual Pro game mode. Players can create their game face on the official web site then download it and apply it to their virtual pro in game. 360° dribbling is also featured along with LAN play. Players can also create tactics themselves. The game engine that is used for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game will now is used also on the PC. Also, the "Two Button" control system, introduced in the 2010 FIFA World Cup game has carried through to FIFA 11, making it ideal for novices and new players to the series. Goalkeepers now have more urgency and better perception of where to intercept loose balls, resulting in a more responsive and powerful rushing system. Goalkeepers are now more agile and can make more impressive saves. New animation warping technology provides game-realistic goalkeeper positioning and momentum, resulting in more varied scoring opportunities. True 360° dribbling system will provide finer dribbling control, enabling players to find space between defenders that previously was not possible.
And the best part, Graphics. The Fifa franchisee is improving their graphics day by day. The graphics of Fifa 11 is just awesome. But, player's characterization is not well developed in comparison to earlier versions. You can see referee in a lot more detailed way. Commentary and player celebration is near to realistic.
In closing word, Fifa 11 is good game to play, although its little annoying for keyboard users, I will give it 7 out of 10.
