FIFA 09 proves that PSP isn't the ideal console for FIFA series.

First of all, I want to say that this review is merely my own opinion, which possibly is different from many of yours. Don't criticize every single word I typed.

FIFA 09 is the latest game of the FIFA series, which is released for PS2, PS3, PSP, 360, PC, DS and WII. It is a good game, but the PSP versions hasn't been doing well lately. FIFA 07, 08 is kinda disappointing, and so is FIFA 09.

[8/10]: Gameplay: FIFA has plenty football teams and players, it is a quite interesting soccer game. There are 6 game modes: Manager Mode, Be A Pro, Kick Off, Tournament, Football IQ, and Interactive League.
Manager Mode which allows you to be a manager, control your team for 15 seasons (though you could change team after a season). While controlling your team (and yeah, of course you can play), you can manage your staff, check budget and buy/sell players. In my opinion, it is the most entertaining game mode.
Be A Pro is a new mode for the PSP. You control ONLY one player throughout the season and earn EXP points to "level up" him. As your player levels, his skills increase. When you're trusted enough, you can be the team captain and give orders to your teammates. Quite an interesting mode I believe.
Kick Off is your typical quick start mode.
Tournament Mode...a pretty boring mode. You choose a tournament, then play. You can also create your own tournament.
Football IQ, another new mode introduced to the PSP. It's an "exclusive" mode. You simply...answer questions regarding football knowledge. It's actually a fun minigame to relieve your stress.

[6/10]: Graphics: Yeah, 6 over 10. The worst part of this game. The whole game is letdown by it's graphics. The players move like robots, their animation is so abnormal. They don't move as smooth as the other versions. EA spent too much time improving the players' model that they forgot to improve their animation. Also because of player's slow motions, the game will play at a way slower pace and it's unintense.

[7/10]: Sound: The quality of the soundtrack decreased dramatically (that's my opinion, okay?) from 08. And for the commentators, they should speak more, there's too less commentary lines.

[--/10] Story:
[8/10] Value: Yep, lots of unlockables. It's quite "rewarding" when you complete a cup/league.

----- OVERALL: 7/10 ------
Ending comment: FIFA 09 for PSP is not as good as the 360/PS3/PS2 versions. It has a good gameplay, but is letdown by poor music and graphics. It is advised that you NOT buy this game, cause FIFA doesn't last long.
