Best in series. Truly amazing. Really cool graphics with amazing EA Trax. Also, it is beautifully hard!
To start of, for once, the game is difficult. The was the part that made me 'OVER'satisfied. They were usually easy games save for FIFA 06 and FIFA 07. Yet, this game had a certain new touch. It is very hard and challenging and really makes you feel that your are virtually living real soccer with all its coaches', personal and general problems. And the phrase 'Can you FIFA08?' really completes the touch. Only the best could survive this game.
Next are the graphics. They are beautifully put together with amazing lighting and shadowing effects. Everything goes right and satisfies your eyes. All the stadiums, licensed balls, jerseys, player celebrations and even their shoes are authentic. Nothing is fake except that you find sometimes EA put generic items. Yet, this is equally fun. You can still play a life-like game with your own equipment making it 100% your world.
Next are the EA Trax. Personally, I NEVER listen to music while playing video games no matter what. They are usually not impressive. Also, in the cases of PS3 and X360 where you can play your own music that still isn't right. The sound of background music is annoying and takes away from the joy of the game. Yet in this game, it is totally different. The music is right and has been placed in the correct game. This is maybe the first time I enjoy listening to soundtracks without being annoyed or the least of disturbed. This is truly awesome!
Also, if you would like the ULITAMTE experience, try the Be-a-Pro or Manager Mode both which have the complete soccer experience. Especially check out Be-a-Pro. It is something totally different and truly not to be missed out, if you have the guts.
Now, to keep it short, this is the right game for true soccer fans and ones who like challenges with the complete courage. So go ahead and enjoy.
