Lesbians with guns. Rejoice.

There are three things that most guys love universally. Guns. Horror. And Lesbians. Put them all together and you get Fear Effect 2: Electric Boogaloo.

First, the gist of the game goes as follows: you control a couple of busty lesbians. These lesbians are super secret black ops something-or-rathers that need to fight through zombie like thugs and ninjas and all manner of baddies in order to keep some kind of disease out of the wrong hands...or something. The story's not super important I suppose...what's important are the big three factors of weapons, scary stuff, and pseudo porn.

Let's start with weapons...which ever person you control (there are actually 4 throughout the game...2 lesbians and 2 straight dudes), has their own set of weapons. You can pick up weapons scattered throughout the levels, and each level has it's own unique set of items and guns that have to be used for that specific level. You'll never be bored of all the things you can pick up and use.

At it's core, Fear Effect 2: The Wrath of the Double Helix, is really a puzzle game...but it's a puzzle game with tons of guns. You'll have to use your brain a lot in this game, but what this game does really well, is it tries to break up the madness of doing puzzle after puzzle, by blowing up all manner of things. It's an action game AND a puzzle game. And it pulls it off wonderfully.

Another thing the game does well, is it's mood. It's creepy. Really creepy. A lot of times your poor scared gun-toting lesbian will be walking in the dark, in corridors, with creepy voices springing up here and there. And then when you see the thing that's making the voices...GEH! Plus the general art style has a very creepy, cartoony, surreal look to it. It's kind of like what an anime's characters nightmare would be. Terrifying. Ugly. Depraved. Magnificent.

And finally we have the reason why most people bought the game...the lesbians. There's a brunette and a blonde. Both hot. Both crack shots. Both unique and well developed characters. They both go through a bunch of twists and turns....and I'm not just talking physically! BA-ZING!

Basically, you'll see all kinds of innuendo including things like prostitution, machines, making out, hiding of weapons, sweet talk, and things I can't even get into here. It's like every 7th graders favorite dream.

So all those reasons should be enough for you to want to get out and buy Fear Effect 2: Attack of the Silicones. Enjoy.
