Easily as good as the original
Eve after I read the tons of reviews I decided to give it a try. Well, how much worse can this get than Perseus Mandate ?
I was really impressed by the design ( level and world ) and I felt it be one of the best rendering of being in an apocalyptic situation. Before you say that there are better ones out there, remind yourself of the game lore and setting. I really didn't find anything out of place and felt the lighting, structures and colour suite my palette for a action-horror setting.
Story wise I see that this game hasn't been given much credit. I feel the feeling was more like a viral fever spreading around rather than an open minded opinion. I will say that I too in the beginning thought that the ending sucked when I heard about it; but I realized after playing the game that I had felt that way because I had the craving to know more and uncover more of the story but sadly it had ended.
I feel that people didn't like this story since it was more like a filler. But it was a necessary filler none the less.
