Even though it has its share of connection issues and balancing issues it is undeniably fun and funny

This game I was always tracking and had high hopes for but it kept getting delayed and pushed back but finally the game came out and its a blast to play

Story:

Its mostly a multiplayer game but there is a story element to it both teams (red and blue) have each others princesses and they want them back or something like that its really not that important

Gameplay:

For a PSN and strictly multiplayer game there is a surprising amount of modes and things to do there is a single player mode (but its mostly for training and learning how to play) gladiator mode which is you are in a arena as one of the many classes to choose from and fight waves of enemies and finally a credits mode which is you watch credits dressed as a grim reaper with I like big butts playing killing waves on enemies (just stupid mindless fun) and for the multiplayer there is many modes like capture the princess ( capture the flag), team death match, conquest (capture outposts)and many more

The main multiplayer game plays like a unique capture the flag match with 32 people the teams have to make sure that they get their princess in their castle and have the other team's princess in their dungeon and hold them for 10-15 seconds now what you do to slow the attackers is to feed the other teams princess with cake that respawns outside the castle walls and the more you feed her the fatter she gets and harder for the other team to carry but you have to check up on her because she will lose the weight and maker herself skinny again

Now the game is from a top down perspective and the camera really isn't that bad you start out in your own castle (with 16 other players) and you pick your class from the various machines laying around spitting out hats you then do what ever that class does if your the warrior then go out and kill since you have a sword and shield and the most health if your a priest go out and heal your fellow teammates you a worker?then cut down trees, get metal build the seige and defense equipment and upgrade the other classes

Yes the classes can be upgraded (from both the metal and wood your team collects) to make them more powerful the worker originally only carries a axe (to cut down ore and trees) when upgraded his building produces very powerful bombs and he can now carry bombs and the warrior gets a powerful spear-like weapon the priest can drain life from enemies they are creative and colorful and it is a race to see who can power-up their team first because you need metal and about 90% of the time the metal is in the middle of the map so there is some brutal fighting in the middle and killing of workers so the teams can't level up

There are some problems though first is the A.I. is horrible what they do (which I like) is replace anyone who dropped out with a A.I. character well the A.I. just isn't up to par with real players they really don't do much and when there is a majority of A.I. players the game really drags on because they really don't advance they really just sit around and defend also the maps you fight on are just the same really you have 2 normal grassy maps, 2 lava maps, 2 on a mountain maps and they just feel the same they are all extremely balanced but that at times leads to too long matches if the red team owns the middle then they should have a quick transport or something along those lines also it does have some connection issues but it has been dealt with thanks to a update

Yet the biggest problem with the game is the balancing issues of both the classes and teams some classes are just too powerful or get useless for example once you fully upgraded the classes and everything the worker class is really not needed they don't have enough health to be considered be a attacking force another thing is the team balances and the game really needs to work on that there are times I join a game and it has 16 players on the red team and only 3 on the blue team and those matches last about 4-8 minutes

Graphics:

The graphics are great they have a cartoony look to them I really enjoy the graphics and its pretty violent it did surprise me how cute and cuddly the game looks and then become violent

Audio:

The game sounds pretty good the music isn't that bad and the announcer (tells you if you princess is being captured and stuff) is funny and doesn't over stay his welcome

Pro's

Fun multiplayer game with a interesting twist on capture the flag, many modes on it, decent graphics, can customize your avatar, it sucks you in, the maps are balanced, there is a undeniably charm about the game, decent amount of classes, a sense of humor in the game, at the end of the rounds it rewards both the loser and winner in first place on both teams and its fun

Con's

The maps are too balanced (I seem to be contradicting myself I know), some classes are too powerful or get useless, the maps seem to get repetitive, the team balancing issues need to be fixed, the A.I. is bad, some games go on for too long, some lag issues, when you first play you will be lost

Overall

Overall I am glad I bought this game its only 15 dollars and its fun to play plus there are many modes to keep anyone happy
