am i having fun?
This game makes me feel dizzy in a bad way. Everything from the over saturated greens of the plastic looking trees to the god awful water effects to the repetitive been there done that rpg elements. I was expecting big things from this dunia 2 engine and the devs but neither has delivered.
The frame rates can be so dizzyingly low that when you turn the camera the whole view blurs and things like buildings almost have a ripple effect. Maybe im quite sensitive to this but the camera doesnt seem to stop moving and shaking and bobbing up and down making me feel as though im on a boat.
As for the game itself the rpg elements are so tired now most of us have seen it and done it.
instead of focussing on what the game does well (outposts) the game tries to appeal to a wider audience by giving you linear story mode missions QUICK TIME EVENTS ahhhhh! and flower picking.
There are a few good things scattered about in this game but most of my time i find myself thinking is this game fun? and most of the time i think oh no.
basically i totally agree with what penntogramus said.
Also i would much rather play as vaas and mow down 100s of douchebag americans than these poor uneducated pirates just trying to make a living. penntogramus you can zipline down from towers you idiot haha just kidding..
