The most amazing game i've ever played.
So i'm scouting this camp with my camera, working my way around the outside, marking things and it's gotten dark by now. I'm ready for action so i'm really close now, using night as my cover. I hear mumbled conversations and a dog somewhere in the camp, and as I creep through the tall grass inside the camp perimeter...I hear a growling sound really close to my right...tiger!
But he's in a cage. As I creep past him, he gets excited and growls and snarls louder than ever (actually does this ingame). I hurry past hoping that he doesn't attract the attention of the sniper i'm working my way towards. I pull my bow equipped with a marksman scope and notch an arrow. Aiming at the sniper above me, I let an arrow fly....I hit him and it's a one hit kill....BUT!...
This game is very detailed and I hit him in the neck area, and he had time to yelp in pain and alerted the dog and I think one close guard. So the dog runs over and goes up a ramp towards the dead guy, and turns and sees me crouched there in the bushes. I pulled my silent pistol and put a few badly shots in his area...kill him. But the commotion and dog barks have caused some one to trigger the alarm as two guards run towards me yelling!
So at this moment I realize with vivid clarity....."I'm Fu*****"!!. I'm hiding close behind the tiger cage so I shoot his cage open, hoping he helps me! He goes to work...I pull a few fire arrows and shoot them into the camp interior...and start pulling back towards the river. All hell is going on around me as I reach the exit to the camp I came in, fires burning, the tiger tearing through the camp, alarm wailing, jeeps pulling up and rolling around the camps area full of enemies!! I am being shot at constantly as I turn and flat out run and heal as I flee. I finally get near the edge of a cliff and didn't even hesitate to jump off towards the water below! Jason does a great diving animation as I barely avoid braining myself on a rock outcropping....and hit the water and start swimming underwater towards safety! Total fail and retreat but I actually survived this nightmare...lol
I'll be back for that outpost when things settle down...
Even with a few flaws and a pretty bad mulitplayer...this game is simply amazing! At the end of the day, games are based on fun...nothing else. In hat sense...solid 10/10
