This game has so much potential but has much holding it back
The good: Best fire I have ever seen. Good graphics, even for now. Immersive environment. Great selection of weapons. Some very fun missions. Sniper rilfes are great. Many ways to do things. Best day/night cycle i have seen
The "ehh": The storyline is bland. Vehicles break down (realistic) but too often. Weapons break and jam (realistic) but too often. Saving system: have to find a saving station on a wall or go to a safehouse.Also the good weapons take forever to unlock.
The bad: some weapons are severely underpowered. Vehicles are slow. Too much travel required to get from point A to point B in missions. Sometimes saving a downed buddy can take 4 or 5 tries (loading a save then rushing to a location because the buddy is under fire
The ugly: This game suffers from too many glitches... Some save houses seem not to exist, sometimes they won't unlock... Diamond cases can be found then there is a glitch where you can't open it so you must come back later... Some people have had their saves corrupted because the disc was scratched or something random
Overall its fun to me but bland a repetitive
Multiplayer: Now I didnt play this much at all but there was some good things about it.
Good: User generated maps (some of which were very good). Great map editor/generator. Some game modes were surprisingly fun
the bad: Overall this felt weird also... it wasnt really all that fun to play and sadly the number of people who played it then was low so now its probably even lower now... some of it felt unbalanced (starting out was a pain)
Overall: ehh. Nothing fun about actually playing but the maps and map maker were top notch
Edit: Just decided to pick up and finish the game today, 21 April 2012. I must say the ending is disappointing, just like most of the rest of the story. I encountered several more glitches when playing it such as not being able to take guns off of the top rack in the armory. I had to take my game back a few saves in order to solve the problem, so I highly suggest to anyone that is or wants to play this game, that you should create a new save file every time you save because save files get corrupted way to easily. Also install the game on your hard drive to cut down on glitches (NOTE: will not totally get rid of them). Also if you are an achievement hunter, I don't suggest trying to get all of the achievements in this game because for the single player ones it takes entirely too long to do so and on multiplayer there are not enough people playing to be able to rank up very much, and it would take forever to rank up all the way.
