Ether by downloading Point Lookout from the PlayStation Store, or buying the "Game of the Year edition", Point Lookout is a great additional side quest that adds more life-value to Fallout 3.
Point Lookout can last pretty long, adding a fairly big map for you to explore, find new locations, a few new weapons and enemies into the Fallout world, as well as a hidden side quest that will sure to keep you playing for several hours, if not the entire day.
The game-play, sound design and graphics are similar to that of the original Fallout 3, which for that, there really isn't mush I can say… unless you haven't read my Fallout 3 review.

Point Lookout is a new additional side quest. In order to travel to Point Lookout, you will need to travel South-East toward a riverboat and speak to a man name Tobar the Ferryman, on board a boat called the "Duchess Gambit". And you must buy a Point Lookout ticket costing around 500 caps for every time. Once you finished Point Lookout however, you are able to travel there anytime for free once the quest is over. Upon your arrival, you will be encountered by a women name Catherine in need of help. Catherine's daughter "Nadine" has apparently travelled to Point Lookout a few week ago, and Catherine is worried her daughter may be in danger, so has asked for your help.
Once you arrive at Point Lookout (a foggy land type swamp), your first location is the mansion upon a hilltop, which is (apparently) owned by a Ghoul named Desmond. Upon arrival, the mansion gets under attack, in which you must aid Desmond fight of the many groups of enemies. Once the mansion attack has been seized, Desmond (a very aggressive and ignorant Ghoul) asks you to find out more about where and why the attackers are trying to seize the mansion.
The story revolves around the Ghoul Desmond, and a group of tribe's at war with each other. As the story unfolds, you have to make choices (as you normally would in the Fallout world). Ether choice does nothing to your overall moral state, but there are a few choices to make nonetheless. Point Lookout will have you travailing to a fair amount of different locations, but there are a good few other hidden locations out there for you to find and explore, that may even have a small hidden side quest.
There are few new weapons and enemies in Point Lookout, which is good.

Overall Point Lookout is an extra content that is worth getting if your looking to boost up your Fallout 3 life-value. Point Looking does nothing new in terms of game-play, but it is an extra side quest, with perhaps an additional very creepy and great moment that Fallout 3 does so well.

Recommended.
