Imagine the United States got nuked in 2077 but the date is around 2122. How will we survive and where will we live at. This is the third Fallout game in the series. But is it any good?

The start of the game you start in a vaults hospital. Where you are getting born. So when you do get born then you get to pick if you are a male or female, what you look like when you are in adult, and all of that great stuff. Then after you do that then your mom is not feeling well and your dad tells the nurse to get you out of there. So you are pushed into another room and then it is a couple years later and you are a baby. So you do baby things like look at your special book that will help you throughout the game. Then your father comes in and after he tells you one of the bible verse that your mom loved then it is a few years later and you are ten years old and there is a birthday party for you. At the party you get a pip boy, (a device that shows the map, shows your weapons and apparel, and shows your objectives and where to go for them) and you also get your very first gun to use in the game. Then time fast forwards into a few years later and you are sixteen years old and you have to take the G.O.A.T exam. Then it is a few years later and you are 19 years old and you have to escape the vault cause your dad left it first and the overseer is going crazy over it. So you leave the vault and out into the Wasteland.

So now that you are outside there are a few things that you should follow. One of them is too use your map a lot. Second, make sure you level up a lot in the game. If you don't have the DLC then the maximum level would be 20 but if you do have the DLC then it is level 30. Third, there are going to be a lot of enimies in the game so you will have to get a lot of guns and armor so you don't die easily. Out in the wasteland there are over 50 quests that are marked that you can do to get money and EXP. But there are over a 100 quests that are unmarked that you can do for money and a little EXP as well. The main story of this game is too get the water back to the wasteland with the Brotherhood in Steel but the other side that is trying to make you lose it is called the Enclave. Both of them have a purpose for getting the water back to normal but not for the same reason. Also there are radio stations that you pick up if you get close to them. Also there are partners in the game that you can get but you can only have two or three of them following you at a time. The last thing is that Karma is a big part in the game. When you have bad karma some people that you can obtain as partners won't be on your team only a few of them will if you only have bad karma and also people will treat you meanly. If you have good karma then a lot of people will join your team and people will treat you nicely. But if you have nuetral Karma then people will just treat you the same as they treat everyone else. So this plays a big role in this game.

Operation Anchorage: This is the first ever DLC to come out for Fallout 3. It starts off as you helping a group of Brotherhood of Steel soldiers taking out the Super Mutants. After you do that then you take the elevator down to the vault like area into a pod that will transport you into Alaska. Ever since that the nukes hit Alaska has been taking over by China. But it is yours and a group of Americans jobs to get it back to the U.S. There are three quests to it. Also when you start the last two quests you can pick who your partners are going to be. You can choose from a sentry bot, a sniper, a soldier, or a Mr. Gutsy. After the DLC is done with then you can take all of the weapons and armor in another room that will help you in the game a lot.

The Pitt: This is the second DLC for Fallout 3 and it takes place in Pittsburgh. This DLC starts off as you are going up north into the wasteland and you see this man named Werhner fighting off raider so if you help him then he will thank you and you will also have to save slavers near a train station more west of the area that you meant werhner at. So after you do that and get the slave outfit on then you go into the train cart and go to Pittsburgh. Then you go and get captured and then part of the pitt. So you do jobs like get 10 steel ingots and then the leader of the pitt will talk about the arena opening. So you fight in the arena and if you win all three matches then you get to meet the leader. Now you have the choice of killing the leader and taking the baby to the girl that you meet up earlier in the game or telling Werhner not to do his plan and to leave the pitt. Either way you beat the DLC.

Broken Steel: This is the third DLC and you can only play these last three DLC after you beat the main story of Fallout 3. This DLC is all about finishing the Enclave once and for all. There are only three major quests into this DLC. The first one is you get information from one of there hideouts. Then the second one is going into the Old Olney Sewers and getting more information there as well. Then you go into the Enclave main base and destroy there cruiser there. This is the second hardest DLC that Bethesda has made and it will take you a little while to play and beat this.

Point Lookout: This is the fourth and biggest DLC that Bethesda has created. This DLC has still only three major quests to it but a bunch of side quests also to it. There are also 15 to 20 areas to locate in this DLC as well. The whole point of this DLC is helping this ghoul and finishing off his enimie that is a brain. After the DLC you really don't get anything and the ghoul just tells you to piss off. But still there are a bunch of sidequests still yet to do in the game as well.

Mothership Zeta: This is the last and final DLC for Fallout 3 and it is the hardest one as well. It starts off as you find a crashed Alien ship and when you get close to it then you get abducted with the Aliens. So they do some surgery on you trying to make the human race better then what it is now. So after that part then you are locked into a room with a girl that has a plan to get out of there. So you two will fight and aliens will come in and you kill them and you get your stuff and make a break for it and also saving everyone else that has been abducted. There are three parts to this game as well but they are hard and the game will take you a while and who knew that the ship would be huge.

Overall: There is a lot to Fallout 3 and it doesn't get any better then that. And the game is worth on getting with all five DLC's to the game. Even though some parts do get really hard.

The good of the game is that there are plenty of things to do. All five DLC's are great. A huge Wasteland. Plenty of side quests and main quests.

The bad of the game is that the game is hard even though you might have it on the lowest difficulty setting.
