Fable 2 is a great fantasy game full of quest and adventure...
So I bought Fable 2 now that it is a Platinum Hit and I have to admit that it is pretty good. First of all you choose a boy or a girl character... of course since I was a girl I chose a girl. Then of course there is the storyline but not only do you have your storyline but you can take on other quest. A lot of games do this but this is one of the greatest things about this game.
My next favorite thing... good or evil? You get to choose. If you want to be good then you can do good things by helping other people. However, you can also play the bad guy. That means you get to bust down doors and can steal things. That turns Fable 2 into a fantasy grand theft auto.
The next thing that is good is the graphics. The graphics are pretty good and the creatures and characters are cool as well.
Negatives:
So my biggest negative with this game is text. The font in the text is nice and all but with the loading screens and when people are talking its really small.
The next negative, at least i think so, is time. Don't get me wrong, I like the time idea, but I think there should be a clock. That way when you move from one town or another you can see what time it is where you are and estimate what time it will be when you go somewhere else.
Not a Negative, but not a Positive:
Online Play... a little shaky but kind of cool. Everyone online is an orb. If you want you can join peoples parties or they can join you and so on and so forth. The downside here is when you join someone you cant be dressed up as your character... kind of stinks. At least I don't think so... not from what I can tell. It would be better if you could see everyone and their character. There should also be quest for multiple players... at least I think that would be cool.
Overall, good game. I give Fable 2 an 8.5 out of 10. Like all games there are some cons and there are some pros. Is this game worth buying? Yes, yes it is. I highly suggest it, especially if you like fantasy and doing quest.
