New content added to the original Fable breathes new life into the game.

User Rating: 8 | Fable: The Lost Chapters PC
Graphics: The graphics in this game still hold up quite well today. Of course you would need a powerful computer to see this game in its full glory.
Soundtrack: The soundtrack in this game is quite memorable. From the humble music played in Oakvale to the rather creepy sounds that can be heard traveling through Darkwood it is anything but generic.

Exploration: There is quite a bit of content to explore in the game. Monsters, bandits, and hidden secrets lurk around the corner. Finding as many Silver Keys as you can to unlock chests that have great loot is always a plus. Discovering a legendary weapon is an achievement in of itself. Though some of the landscapes during the latter part of the game feel barren and lifeless over all exploring is quite fun.

Combat: The combat on the surface seems simple, but there is a lot going for it. You can customize your hero by spending experience points into Strength, Skill, and Will abilities. The game doesn't emphasis in one area of specialization, but instead encourages the player to make a hybrid character of all three.

Melee combat is as simple as clicking the left mouse button, but you can also dodge, block and hold down the attack button for a powerful Flourish attack. Some enemies will occasionally dodge or block your attacks forcing you to change up your combat tactics. Swinging your sword or axe can sometimes decapitate certain enemies; thus instantly killing them. This, in turn, makes it more interesting than just button mashing.

Ranged Combat is quite satisfying in this game. With a few upgrades to accuracy in the Skill tree you can kill bandits with a single head shot with your bow or cross bow and decapitate them at the same time. You can also zoom in the camera to launch arrows from a long distance.
There are some stealth elements in the game but, it is not very in-depth. It is mainly "press this key to sneak past enemies", but with some upgrades to Guile your character can learn the expressions steal, pickpocket, and lock pick.

Magic in Fable is quite powerful and very useful. Some spells such as the Healing spell and Slow Time spell are invaluable in and out of combat. Two new area of effect spell were added to this updated addition they are very flashy, but not that powerful at level one.
Overall: A game that is truly a must play for any Role-Playing Game fans.
