I never played the game when it appeared in 2004, but I got to play the anniversary edition on my XBOX 360. And I felt disappointed. OK, the plot is not as original as I could have thought, and the gameplay is simple as hell. If you play on lower difficulty, you can easily pass over certain obstacles, but if you play on higher one you'll get in trouble. At certain times the foes are damned too good and the final boss is a pain in the ass. The game is linear and you go from there to there. The graphics (even enhanced) is ugly and the voice acting seems unnatural. Overall, a RPG with nothing new. By the way, I tried to beat the final boss, but it's too hard for me and I quit even trying. You cannot go back and solve other quests in order to get better equipment (or at least, I did not know how, no, you go and finish it. Sadly it's not a good game.
