Great fun.
Very good graphics for a PS game, the frame rate is pretty smooth and nothing looks overly boxy or bad.
Gameplay: 9/10
F1 2000 doesn't really offer anything different to older, or even newer F1 games. This is the oldest one I had, but i remember playing F1 99 at a friends house and bought this, and it felt exactly the same, with just more modern looking menus. However its still great fun and even though its basically the same as the previous game, its still really good fun. You can make it really easy or stupidly difficult thanks to greatly customisable cars, and the controls are good; they are nice and sensitive so it feels like a real F1 car, but this can also be adjusted.
Sound: 10/10
The cars in this game actually all sound a bit different, which is good for a 9 1/2 year old game. Plus you have your pit crew talking to you about the state your car is in once you crash. Also, the commentators from the real F1 appear on the game, adding to the action.
Overall:
This game is really good fun, but it doesn't really offer anything new over older games. If you are one of the few who still has the original PlayStation, and you like formula 1, then i definitely recommend this game.
