If you thought Star Wars: Episode I: Racer was fast; think again. Be prepared to crap your pants. F-Zero GX is quite honestly so fast you don't know a damn thing that you're doing while in the front seat. With 30 characters to choose from, and 20 stages; this game will last quite a long time. It's the sense of being chased and the amount of adrenaline you get by going so fast through straight-aways, jumps and loop-de-loop's that really make you love this game.

I hadn't played the N64 version of F-Zero X (I believe?) but if this version was fantastic, I wish I didn't miss out on that one. From the get-go, don't expect a story. It's a racing game. You're stupid if you like stories in racing games. They just don't work; it's not the right place. If you want a story-driven game go check out some adventure games or role-playing games, because here it's a totally different story. F-Zero GX focuses on it's core gameplay and that is what it should damn well do.

Overall, F-Zero GX is a fantastic package and I highly recommend it to any arcade racing fanatic. It's certainly worth the buck; and definitely get a long of bang. So much, you'll crap your pants a dozen times before stopping the game.
