I was really looking forward to this game coming out, as I really enjoyed F-Zero for the SNES. For some reason, I expected the same gaming experience, but that seemed to be lacking in this game. Sure, the graphics are pretty cool, the game is really fast, and there are plenty of levels, I just didn't feel like I was playing anything special. This is probably a game I would have preferred to have rented or borrowed, not to own. The graphics looks like they're generated by the same graphics engine that runs Super Monkeyball, if that makes any sense. It seems to be presented in the same way, but doesn't actually suit this game. Some slight blurring effects on the ilghts or something would have made a lot of difference, even at the sacrifice of the very fast frame-rate. Hmm.. I dunno, this game is probably great for die-hard furutistic racing game fans, but it's just not my bag baby.
