F-Zero GX is a very fun game, anyone who owns a Gamecube should give this game a try. And it has many unlockables, so it will keep you busy for quite a while. The difficulty of F-Zero GX's story mode is very, very hard. Alot of the time it will be on the difficulty on NORMAL and it will seem you put it on very hard. But the Grand Prix mode is just right. It won't take you long to learn the basics, and it should only take a few minutes. I have played this game around 7-10 hours, it is very fun, but also. Very hard. Now, I will start with my main review, I will rate in catagories. (Gameplay, Sound, Graphics) Gameplay--- 8.0 The gameplay in this game is like a regular racing game, but with more stuff added onto it. Like speed boosts, energy bar, attacking other racers, and snaking. When you are in a race, you can choose to ram into other people to knock them out of the race, or just get WAY in front of them while using your speed boosts. You have an energy bar in this game, once it goes down you automatically lose the race. Using your boost with you get AFTER the first lap will take some energy out of your bar. But you can regain that energy by getting on energy strips. The computer AI in this game is pretty good, they will try to crash into you, and fall off the stage every once in a while. And at 60 frames per second, this game almost never lags. You could be in a level with alot of twists and turns, and have 29 other racers and have everyone try to ram each other, and this game won't lag. Also, you can unlock ALOT of other things, and even make your own vehicle. Graphics--- 8.0 The graphics when you are watching scenes look awesome, they look really realistic. But while playing the game, the graphics are just as good. The lighting in this game is decent, and the backgrounds of the stages are amazing. Sound--- 9.0 The music in this game is pretty great. It always has some kind of techno music playing while you are on a futuristic racing course. The sound effects are just as good. Overall--- 8.1 Even if you do not like racing games. I reccomend you at least give this game a rent. -Akai
