This and Burnout have to be the two fastest racing series ever. They're seriously lighting fast at their high points and still pretty damn fast at their lowest speeds. In the (probably) only F-Zero game on Gamecube, there's a handful of new tracks and cars and the new boost function. After a lap you can jut ahead of your competition. The tracks are all super-slippery and twisty with tons of stunning sights to see along each lap. All the cars have seperate stats and drivers and you can even customize your own car. The graphics are sharp as hell (same with music and sound fx). All standard racing stuff right? Wrong. This is no normal racing game. Like I said, its helluva fast! You'll be breaking speeds you never knew were possible. Then there's story mode. The movies are amazing and rich with detail. But the actual storyline itself is just plain stupid. Its that old and tired 80's stuff of "lets race off to decide our problems." It's just too sappy, shallow, and plain crappy. And really f***ing hard!!! 4-player's included but gets pretty old after a couple races. One thing that will leave anyone scrathing their heads is why theres no online. Eh, whatever, its Gamecube, c'mon. But besides that its certainly one of the best racers on Gamecube or maybe ever.
