If you are up for a challenge and like racing games, you should buy this game.

F-Zero GX, besides being one of the hardest games on GC, is also fun. This game uniquely blends a good multiplayer with a difficult single player. There are a lot of things to unlock, as well as other reasons to play it through multiple times. The first thing you might notice about this game is that it is incredibly hard to beat. Sure, on the first level in easy this might seem simple, but otherwise, this game is hard. The single player mode consists of 8 missions (I think) and 6 or 7 of them are very hard to beat on easy. Even after you beat this game through once, you will probably want to play it through again and try to unlock some new features. Another great thing about this game is the ability to be able to learn how to play in a few minutes. Any gamer who has ever played any racing game is probably familiar with the “A” button as accelerate and the “B” button as stop, but this game has different aspect, the turbo. Turbo can either make you win or lose a race, and must be strategically used in order to gain victory. If you don’t use enough turbo, you will lose and if you use to much your vehicle blows up and you come in dead last. Multiplayer in this game is just like any other racing game and you are allowed to choose either over 25 of the F-Zero machines, or create one of your own. Overall, if you’re up for a challenge and like racing games, buy this game. Beating one mission in this game can be VERY difficult, and is you are playing on a high difficulty can take over an hour. But, if you think you can keep your sanity for long enough, you should step up to the plate and try out this game.
