Fun, but Cutscenes are the standouts

Having purchesed FEAR as FEAR/Extraction/Perseus combo, I'd have to say the most outstanding thing about the game are the cutscenes, especially in the extraction pacs, extremely well thought out and viciously executed. Slo-Mo sequences in some instances made me wish there was a replay like in Burnout, because there were some times the carnage and destruction were so well executed (and not just because I was pulling the trigger), that I wish I could have seen it over and over again. There were at least 10 times I was genuinely chill up my spine spooked by one of the appartions popping up behind me or right around the corner (another definite plus for the game), with there enjoyable quips before disentegrating into ashes. AI comments were most fun but like most games became repetitive in tellin you what your next move should be. I wish I had made much more use of the various explosive tanks and other edge makers, but I usually didn't see them until after wiping out the opposition. Will definitely make more use of next go round with settings at maximum resistance. Unfortunately, the first 2 games DO NOT like dual card machines, at least not my Alienware. Game would give you about 20 minutes great time, and then begin to stutter. The fix was in by the time of the Perseus section.
