This game can be "Extreme" at points, but did it have to punish us with passwords?!

User Rating: 5 | Extreme Ghostbusters: Code Ecto-1 GBA
I admit, Ghostbusters Extreme could have been a lot better, but look on the bright side: at least it's fun for an hour or too. One of the shining features of Ghostbusters Extreme is the ability to switch from a female character to a male character on the fly. In fact, when I say "fly", I really mean it. Switching from the game's 2 characters to solve puzzels, reach certain areas, and fight baddies is just a button push away. Being able to switch on the fly quickly pushes the game forward real smoothly, but that doesn't mean the game has rough bumps. The game can be very punishing at times, especially at boss battles, where the bosses would attack you with little warning. Fortunally, health packs are in good places at the right time, so if you want to live you just have to look harder. However, the difficulty is not the thing that would drive you mad, it's the one thing that gamers hate in this modern era: passwords. If it weren't for this dumb overrated progress moving, I would've scored this game at least a 7.0, but the developers had to go the stupid way and didn't add a save option, so this game gets a solid 5.0. It kind of makes you wonder why they even bothered putting in a scoring system if this game doesn't even save it, they must've been on something. This game has some fun timed stages featuring the Ghostbuster's mobile, but it falls flat when the rest of the game depends on passwords. This game had a lot of potential too, it's unfair that the developers choose the wrong moves.
