These are some exciting trucks.
Don't let the somewhat low score that Gamespot gave Excite Truck scare you away. I really don't think the reviewer played it enough to realize how perfect the difficulty is. It's not that difficult to score a B and clear the course but it takes some serious strategy and skill to get an S. The bottom line is that this is a Nintendo published game and you can tell; it drips quality and is a blast to play.
The only complaints that I have with Excite Truck is the music and the title. The background tracks are all generic and awful with the exception of the final level. But wait - this is not a problem! Just slap whatever music you want on an SD card and pop it in your Wii console. This is one of only two games in the Wii library that supports custom soundtracks and trust me - you are going to want your own songs. My complaint with the title is: Why is it two words? It should be Excitetruck just like Excitebike and Excitebots. Oh well; there's nothing I can do about that!
Overall Excite Truck is pure, simple fun and should be experienced. I can't wait to get Excitebots!
