Unique, mesmerizing, adventure!

User Rating: 10 | Everybody's Gone to the Rapture PS4

I did not know what to expect from this game because there was little in the way of any kind of video trailer. I can see now why that is.

You are the last person alive, you must venture through a journey in an English town, to discovery what happened to the people living there and why.

"Everybody's Gone to the Rapture" is a unique 1st person adventure that requires you to discover how to play as you play. It has great graphics considering it's age and clearly readable in world text. You will encounter "others" during your journey.

The game was a bit short and I could have gone for a longer adventure. At most times the path was clear while during other times it was unclear. I wish that my character had been able to run because I felt the character was very slow. I also would have preferred their be a map but it's clear there was a reason in the game why you did not have one.

At times certain aspects of the game felt repetitive. I would have liked it if there had been more to do. More places to explore, perhaps more in the way of puzzles.

I generally do not like 1st person in video games, however for the story-line and feel of this game it works out well.

I was very impressed with the quality of the voice acting in this game. This is truly a diamond in the rough. I would love to see a sequel to this or another story of this kind presented by the same publisher in the future. I would pay $20 or less only because it was quite short. If you enjoy unique games or need a respite from the drama and action heavy games out there then this is a must play.
