Poor AI promises to frustrate or bore

There's a lot of good to be said about this game, but equally as much bad. I wouldn't say it's a waste of money but it definitely falls short in terms of AI.

The main problem with the game is that where the developers were too lazy to implement AI they would implement a roll of the dice. It gets very frustrating knowing that things aren't going your way due to a bunch of dice rolls. The fights themselves are near completely down to said rolls.

Royal Marriages, demanding annexation of a vassal, alliances... it's all down to dice rolls. A strategy game like this should not have "Gift, gift, try to annex, gift gift, try to annex" as a strategy (but it does, and it's a very effective one).

It comes down to just being a glorified game of risk. One that can be fun, though.
