is about all that is good about this game. with various gorgeously done areas to visit with VERY limited roaming of where you can and can't go, makes you feel like a caged in animal. the turn based combat system, although new and well done, is VERY repetitive. leveling after lvl 10 can be very tedious and repetitive. the cut-scenes in between can also be like watching a speech on quantum physics....BORING. although great character design, you don't quite feel like you're a part of their lives like you would in FF VII or FF X. yeah yeah, don't expect Final Fantasy out of this game, but the best part of RPGs is to feel like you're a part of the lives of the characters you control. the game was gorgeous and fun to play for the first 4-6 hours, but after that i quickly started losing interest. it just didn't keep my interest at all. and the history lessons with still pictures inbetween each chapter didn't help the cause. i should've waited till this hit the bargain bin.
