This is probably the one game that is worse than Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Basically, E.T. has to get home. He has to get dots and telephone pieces he finds in holes. But when ever you get telephone piece, a secret agent comes and steals it. Also, these scientists drag to to examine you. This can take you way off course. Also, getting out of the holes can be a problem, because half the time you fall back in.

Now, you may be thinking, why complain about a game 28 years old? Because it ******* sucks!Sorry bout the profanity.

Anyway. This game actually helped the video game crash of 1983. 4.5Million of the 5 million cartridges sold were shipped back to the company. They were buried in the New Mexico desert. One of the main problems was probably the fact that:
Average Atari Game: 2-3 Month's- 300 thousand copies
E.T.: 6 Weeks- 5 Million copies
Wow.

Gameplay: 1/10
The gameplay just...sucks.You walk, collect things, get them taken away, fall in holes.

Story: 10/10
It's E.T. End of story.

Graphics: 5/10
Its's Atari so no use complaining.

Music:2/10
No music, just sounds of walking, etc.

Control: 2/10
Moving is fine, but too many glitches with holes and screen edges.
