In the Entropia Universe, the currency is the PED. 10 PEDs are equivalent to 1 U.S. dollar. You can choose to depoist money into the game, or you can make money and withdraw it.
Make no mistake, it's not easy to make riches within this game. Unless you deposit a considedrable amount, say $500, you are going to have a rough time. However, it's still very fun playing with nothing. Remember, this game costs nothing to play except what you choose to put inside.
The graphics are not that good. In fact, sometimes they are laughable. When you see that all the trees in an area look the same, and they can be walked through for the most part, you may crack up, as well as when you see a line through a rvier showing it wasn't quite put together right.
The sound is well detailed, however, it gets repetitive and the lag can sometimes cause it to glitch up or stop.
Overall, you should definately download this game. It's completely free, and if you choose to put nothing into it, then you can actually make money.
